On October 26, Tigran Harutyunyan, the founder of Myler Mountain Resort, participated in the Tourism Regional Forum held in Dilijan.
The forum aimed to position the region as a leading destination for tourism and business.
During the panel discussion on the topic “Innovations and Investments in MICE Tourism Infrastructure and Services,” Tigran Harutyunyan spoke about opportunities and prospects for developing tourism, existing challenges in MICE tourism infrastructure, and mechanisms for addressing them, as well as the need for new investment projects.
In this context, Tigran Harutyunyan emphasized the role of the state in creating a favorable investment environment, which would also serve as a significant incentive for attracting new local and international investments.
According to Tigran Harutyunyan, Armenia has great potential for positioning itself on the international tourism map. He noted that ski tourism is a developing direction in the country, and one of the key missions of Myler Mountain Resort is to build a leading ski complex in the region and the world, making Armenia one of the top winter tourism destinations.
Tigran Harutyunyan also mentioned that the tourism sector is currently in a phase of transformation and that now, more than ever, it is essential to keep up with these changes.
