By purchasing a Myler Mountain Resort cable car ticket (hereinafter referred to as the “Cable Car”) and/or utilizing the resort’s ski slopes (hereinafter referred to as the “Slopes”) and/or being present on the Slopes, the Skier and/or Snowboarder agrees to comply with the rules outlined below, which are mandatory for them.
For the purposes of these rules:
A Skier is defined as any individual who is present on and/or skiing on the Slopes with and/or without skis.
A Snowboarder is defined as any individual who is present and/on or snowboarding and/on the Slopes with or without a snowboard.
1. Respect for others
A skier or snowboarder must behave in such a way that he or she does not endanger or prejudice others.
2. Control of speed and skiing or snowboarding
The difference in speed between slope users must remain within reasonable limits to ensure overall safety and comfort. The fastest skier’s speed should not exceed that of the slowest skier to such an extent that it compromises the safety of the slope or causes inconvenience to other users. When skiing on slopes, the speed must be adjusted to align with the slope’s level of
congestion, the specific characteristics of the skiing equipment, and the prevailing road and weather conditions. In particular, attention should be paid to the state of the slope’s surface, visibility along the route, and surrounding environmental factors. Skiers are required to maintain a speed that allows full control over their movements and ensures safe usage of the slope in compliance with established rules.
3.Choice of route
Skiers and snowboarders coming from behind must choose a path that avoids endangering those ahead of them.
4. Overtaking
Overtaking may be done from above or below, and from the right or left, provided sufficient space is left for the overtaken skier or snowboarder to make any intentional or unintentional movement safely.
5. Entering, starting and moving upwards
When entering the slope, starting after a stop, or moving uphill, skiers and snowboarders must check both uphill and downhill to ensure their actions do not pose a risk to themselves or others.
6. Stopping
Except in emergencies, skiers and snowboarders should avoid stopping in narrow areas of the slope or where visibility is limited. If they fall in such areas, they must move to a safe location as quickly as possible to free up the slope.
7. Climbing and descending on foot
A skier or snowboarder either climbing or descending on foot must keep to any side of the slope.
8. Respect for signs and markings
Skiers and snowboarders must observe and follow all posted signs and markings.
9.Assistance
In the event of an accident, every skier and snowboarder is obligated to provide assistance
10. Identification
After an accident, all involved parties, whether at fault or not, as well as witnesses, must exchange names and contact information.
